Our Guest Minister for February 16 is Rev. John E. Simmons; a graduate of Southern Baptist Seminary, University of Louisville, and West Virginia State University. He served pastorates in Indiana and West Virginia and served as a missionary with International Ministries (ABC-USA) to Thailand, where he and his wife Lisa worked with the Thailand Lahu Baptist Convention. Rev. Simmons retired from the West Virginia Baptist Convention staff in 2019. He had been the Associate Executive Minister, CFO, and Minister of Mission Support. Rev. Simmons and Lisa live in St. Albans, WV near their daughter Chelsea and the rest of their family.
