Our Guest Ministers for Nov. 12 are the Revs. Drs. Wanda and William ("Bill") K. Neely. They are honorably retired ministers with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  They live at Trails End Cabin, Montreat NC. 

As Ministers of Word and Sacrament, Wanda and Bill served congregations in Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina.  Wanda also served Providence Presbytery as associate executive for education and church development and as acting executive.  Before that she served Charleston-Atlantic Presbytery as campus minister for the campuses of Charleston, SC.  With dissertation work in medical ethics, Wanda also served in chaplaincy positions in three medical universities.  Bill's dissertation work was in the area of community engagement.  Bill is a charter member of the National Response Team for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, having served with it for 26 years.

Bill and Wanda have three children:

Dr. Susan Neely-Barnes is Director of School of Social Work, University of Memphis. She lives with her spouse Craig, Attorney with Shelby County, TN, and Bill and Wanda's two grandchildren, Ellen, a second-year college student, and Nathan, a ninth grader.

Will Neely, their son with disabilities, passed away November 2019.

Dr. Kres Neely teaches math at Elmhurst University, Elmhurst, Illinois. He lives with his spouse Audrey Bowlds, Clinical Assistant Professor, College of Health Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, Midwestern University, Downers Grove, Illinois.
