Our Guest Minister for May 31, is Dr. J. Richard "Rick" McDuffie. He was born in Southport, and grew up in the lower Cape Fear region. Rick graduated from John T. Hoggard high school in Wilmington, has a B.A. from Campbell, and M.Div. and D.Min. degrees from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He is a mostly-retired Presbyterian minister, and is focusing these days on music, gardening, and trying to get caught up on his many unfinished projects. Rick is married to Debbie, a retired educator/school administrator. They have three adult daughters, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
