Guest Ministers

Our guest minister for June 18 is Dr. Michael Cogdill.  Dr. Cogdill is currently the Transitional Pastor at Zebulon Baptist Church in Zebulon, N.C. During his 35 - year teaching career at Campbell University, he served as Chair of the Department of Religion and as Founding Dean and Professor of Church Leadership in the Campbell Divinity School.  Dr. Cogdill has served as pastor of two churches and as Interim Pastor in over twenty North Carolina Baptist churches. He views his calling as a professor and pastor as one calling- to serve God faithfully in church-related ministry. His recent book, IT IS WORTH A LIFE: HEARING AND RESPONDING TO GOD'S CALL, was published in 2017. Dr. Cogdill is married to Gail, and they have two children and four grandchildren. They are members of Memorial Baptist Church in Buies Creek, N.C.
